Rules for using this self-hosted clipping studio and the accounts you connect. Last updated August 14, 2026.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of xClipping (the "Service"), operated at xclipping.cloud. By creating an account, connecting a social platform, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
xClipping is a studio for turning long-form videos (such as YouTube, Twitch, and Kick recordings) into short vertical clips with captions, and for scheduling and publishing those clips to connected social platforms, including YouTube and TikTok, on your behalf through the connections you authorize.
To publish content, you connect your own social accounts (for example, YouTube channels or TikTok accounts) through each platform's official authorization flow. You may disconnect any account at any time from the Channels page; disconnecting revokes the Service's ability to act on that account's behalf. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your Service account and your connected accounts.
You retain all rights to the videos and clips you process and publish through the Service. You represent that you own, or have all necessary rights and permissions to, the source material you submit, and that publishing clips through the Service does not infringe the rights of any third party, including copyright, privacy, and publicity rights. You are solely responsible for the content published from your connected accounts.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Publishing is performed through official platform APIs. Your use of connected platforms is also governed by those platforms' own terms and policies. The Service does not control the availability of third-party APIs and is not responsible for actions taken by a platform on your account or content, including removals, restrictions, or suspensions.
The Service may be offered free or under paid plans. If paid plans are introduced, pricing and billing terms will be presented before purchase.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Automated clipping, captioning, and scheduling are best-effort features; we do not guarantee that any clip will be generated, accepted, or published by a connected platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, xClipping and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising from or relating to your use of the Service, including content published through your connected accounts.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm the Service, its users, or any connected platform. You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your accounts and ceasing use. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@xclipping.cloud.
