Support

Where to write, what to include, and how to get your data removed.

Contact

Email support@xclipping.cloud. That address reaches the person who maintains the service, and it is also the right place for privacy, data deletion, and security reports.

Before you write

Most problems resolve faster with a few details in the first message:

  • What you were doing — importing a URL, rendering a clip, publishing to a channel.
  • The source URL, if the problem started at import.
  • The platform and channel involved, if it is a publishing problem.
  • What the app said. Job errors are shown in full on the Jobs page rather than summarised.

Do not send API keys, OAuth tokens, or passwords. They are never needed to diagnose a problem, and the Settings export deliberately warns before including secrets.

Common fixes

  • A download is refused. Platforms block downloads from datacenter addresses. Uploading the file directly always works.
  • A channel says it needs reconnecting. The platform revoked or expired the token. Reconnect it from the Channels page.
  • A scheduled post did not go out. Check the Queue for the reason — publishing is blocked if the channel is paused, disconnected, or the clip has not rendered.
  • A job is waiting. Jobs are deferred rather than failed when the server is short on disk, so they resume once there is room.

Data and account deletion

Disconnecting a channel from the Channels page deletes its stored tokens immediately. To have any remaining data removed, email the address above from the account you want deleted and say so — no particular wording is needed.

What is retained and for how long is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Reporting a security issue

Send it to the same address with "security" in the subject. Please include enough detail to reproduce the issue, and give a reasonable window to fix it before publishing anything.
